Pride of the Caribbean Art Chocolate Workshops

From Bean to Bon Bon

A Caribbean Chocolate Renaissance

Chocolate has deep roots in the Caribbean. For centuries, our islands and coastal regions have nurtured some of the world’s most prized cacao — grown by skilled farmers whose knowledge, intuition, and relationship with the land shaped the global chocolate story long before the world realized its value. Caribbean growers helped bring cacao onto the world stage, yet for generations our role remained confined to the earliest phase of the industry: cultivation. We grew the beans, but others told the story.

In recent decades, that narrative began to shift. A new wave of Caribbean makers stepped forward, transforming locally grown cacao into awardwinning beantobar chocolate. This movement reclaimed ownership of our craft, our flavor profiles, and our cultural identity. The Caribbean became known not only for exceptional cacao, but for exceptional chocolate — made at origin, by the hands of the people who know it best.

Now, a third chapter is unfolding.

Pride of the Caribbean Chocolate Shop and Chocolate Art Workshops represents the next evolution of Caribbean chocolate: Chocolatiering. This is the art of transforming fine chocolate into exquisite confections — bonbons, truffles, filled chocolates, artistic pieces — where flavor, technique, and creativity meet.

We are proud to stand at the forefront of this moment.

We are proud to bring Belize and the wider Caribbean fully into the 21st century of chocolate craftsmanship.

And we are proud to bridge the journey from grower → maker → chocolatier, honoring every step while elevating the final expression.

Our BeantoBon Bon approach celebrates the entire lifecycle of chocolate: from the farmers who nurture the cacao, to the makers who refine it, to the artisans who shape it into edible art. Through our workshops, we invite our community and visitors to experience this transformation firsthand — to taste, to learn, to create, and to connect with a legacy that is both ancient and newly reborn.

This is more than chocolate.

This is Caribbean heritage, innovation, and artistry — crafted with pride.

Brand Manifesto

We are the descendants of growers, makers, storytellers, and dreamers.

For centuries, the Caribbean nurtured the cacao that shaped the world’s love affair with chocolate — yet our voices were quieted, our craft overlooked, our brilliance hidden behind the beans we grew.

No more.

We honor the hands that tended the trees.

We celebrate the makers who reclaimed our narrative.

And we rise as chocolatiers — transforming our heritage into edible art that carries the soul of the Caribbean in every bite.

We believe chocolate is more than a sweet.

It is culture.

It is memory.

It is resistance.

It is joy.

We craft with intention.

We teach with passion.

We create with pride.

From bean to bon bon, we are shaping a new chapter — one where the Caribbean stands not behind the scenes, but boldly at the forefront of global chocolate artistry.

This is our renaissance.

This is our voice.

This is our pride.

Pride of the Caribbean.

Chocolate with a soul.

Crafted with purpose.

Shared with the world.
